the programmes available, in addition to the main programmes.

Stopping Playback (Pre Stop)
Press the stop button during playback to stop playback. That position is
stored in the memory.

Touch [ ] once during playback.
“Pre ” is displayed.

Touch [ / ] in the Pre Stop mode.
Playback starts from the position at which it was stopped.
• For some discs, the position at which playback was stopped may not
be accurate.
Stopping Playback

Touch [ ] twice, or touch and hold [ ] for at least 2
seconds during playback.
“ ” is displayed, and playback stops.
• Playback starts from the beginning when [ / ] is touched while
playback is stopped.
Fast-forwarding/Fast-reversing

During playback, touch and hold [ ] (Fast-
reverse) or [ ] (Fast-forward).
Touch and hold for more than 1 second to forward/reverse
at double speed. Touch [ ] or [ ] again to forward/
reverse at 8x speed. Touch [ ] or [ ] once more to
forward/reverse at 32x speed.

Touch [ / ] to return to normal playback.
• No sound is played back during fast-forwarding/fast-reversing.
• For DVDs, the menu screen may reappear during fast-forwarding/
fast-reversing.
• This operation may not be possible on certain discs.
• You can forward/reverse a DivX
®
file with no index information at 2x
speed only.
