Switching Display Modes

Touch [WIDE].
Each touch changes the display modes as follows:
Wide Cinema Normal Wide
Wide:
In Wide mode, the monitor displays a normal picture wider
to fit in a wide-screen monitor by evenly stretching out the
picture horizontally.
Cinema:
In Cinema mode, the monitor displays a normal picture by
stretching out the picture horizontally and vertically. This
mode is good for displaying a cinema type picture at the
16:9 ratio.
Normal:
In Normal mode, the monitor displays a normal picture at
the centre of the screen with a vertical black band at each
side.
About DivX
®
DivX
®
is a codec (software) programme to compress moving images
while maintaining image quality using a highly advanced compression
ratio and operating speed.

standard playback of DivX

DivX, DivX Certified, and associated logos are trademarks of
DivX, Inc. and are used under license
The unit can play back CD-R/CD-RW/DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+R/
DVD+RW discs that are recorded in the DivX
®
mode with
extension “avi” or “divx”.
The optimum size for DivX
®
disc playback is as follows:
Screen Size: 32 to 720 pixel (horizontal) × 32 to 576 pixel
(vertical)
With an aspect ratio other than 16:9, black bars may be
displayed on the left and right sides, or at the top and bottom of
the screen.
Image bit rate: average 4 Mbps, Peak 8 Mbps” Home Theater

The following audio recording systems are supported.
About ASF
ASF (Advanced Streaming Format) is a file format developed by
Microsoft to deliver streaming synchronised data of a wide variety
(animation, audio or text, etc.) via networks.
Extension: “.asf ”
Screen Size:
horizontal 32 to 720 pixel × vertical 32 to 480 pixel (NTSC)
* The size above CIF is currently not available horizontal 720
pixel × vertical 576 pixel (PAL)
Image bit rate (maximum):
384 kbps (SP L3 standard) (minimum value not given)
The following image files are supported:
ISO-MPEG4 (MP4S/ M4S2)
The following audio files are supported:
G.726 (Fs:8 kHz, Bitrate:16,24,32,40)
ASP: still not available (GMC is not supported, QuarterPixel is
supported)
SP: supported
MPEG1 Layer II 64 to 384 kbps
MPEG1 Layer III 32 to 320 kbps
MPEG2 Layer III 8 to 160 kbps
Dolby Digital 64 to 448 kbps
