You have access to the information and may request changes (French Data Protection Act of 06/01/78).
Electrical power supply
- Do not damage or modify the power cable or plug. Do not place heavy objects on the power cable. Do not pull on the cable or bend it excessively. Such
actions may cause electrical damage that can lead to a fire or electric shock.
- Do not connect or disconnect the plug with wet hands; there is a risk of electric shock.
- Do not electrically overload the wall socket, with too much electrical equipment. This can cause a fire or electric shock.
- The device should be connected to standard 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz power socket, with two pins and an earth connection (type E female wall socket, accep
-
ting type E/F male plugs – compliant with EEC7/7).
- The earth should be connected through a 30 mA differential circuit breaker. This is the only safety system protecting persons and animals, and the
wall-mounted mains power socket should therefore be protected by this circuit breaker, installed by a qualified electrician, to ensure complete safety.
- The electricity supply must correspond to that specified on the device’s label, otherwise there will be a risk of fire, electric shock or incorrect operation.
If you don’t know the characteristics of your electricity supply, contact your local electricity distributor.
- Do not leave the power cable close to objects radiating heat. The cable outer sheath can melt, leading to a fire and/or electric shock.
- Check that the power cable is properly extended, with no knots, when the electricity is switched on. Knots in the cable or similar bending can lead to
fire or electric shock.
- Before carrying out any work on the device, or in the event of a malfunction, switch off the device and disconnect the plug from the electrical supply
socket, with dry hands and without pulling on the cable.
CAUTION
- During storms, switch off the device and disconnect the power cable from the socket (note that the data memory will be erased when you switch off
the power supply).
- Switch off the electrical supply and disconnect the power cable if the device is not going to be used for a long period, during holidays for example.
- If the power cable plug, connected to the mains power socket, becomes excessively dusty, disconnect the plug and clean it with a clean, dry cloth.
- Do not connect the device to a socket that is also used for other electrical equipment, such as an air conditioner, household appliances or audio sys
-
tems. Such equipment generates electrical noise that can interfere with the operation of your equipment.
Handling
- Do not allow any metal object to fall into the device. Do not spill any liquid or flammable substance onto it. When coming into contact with internal
high voltages, such substances may cause fire or electric shock. If an object should fall into the device or if liquid is spilt on it, switch off the device’s
electrical supply immediately, and disconnect the power cable plug from the mains power socket, with dry hands. Then contact our customer support.
- Do not use flammable aerosol products close to the device. If aerosol gas should come into contact with electrical components inside the device, there
is a risk of fire.
- The device contains high voltages. If the device is opened, do not leave metal objects inside and do not touch any internal components as there is a
risk of burns or electric shock.
- Do not exert excessive pressure on the device covers and instrument panels as there is a risk of damage and/or injury.
- Never lift the equipment by its hydraulic or electrical connections.
- The manufacturer accepts no liability whatsoever if the above safety precautions are not fully observed.
Servicing
- Only the servicing procedures described in the technical documentation should be carried out. If other servicing is required, contact our customer
support.
- The device should be kept clean; an accumulation of dust can prevent proper operation.
