Software General Terminal Setup
Step 13. In the Name field, enter in a unique name [required field] that will be used to describe the terminal. This field will
be automatically populated with the MAC address when the eyeglass button is used.
Step 14. In the Number field, enter 1 for all models except 0 for Hand Punch Ethernet.
Step 15. In the Serial No. field, a unique number will appear automatically for a found MTX-30 terminal after the first
communication..
Step 16. Click on Bell option (if needed).
Step 17. If you wish to assign a Terminal Validation setting to the terminal, select one from the dropdown list in the
Validation field. Assigment is recommended for backup of enrollements.
Step 18. Click on the Options tab to activate the Department Labor at the MTX-30 terminal with a check.
Step 19. In the Time Format box, select the time format (12-hour or 24-hour) for the terminal.

Step 20. In the Misc box, select whether to enable the view hours and View Punch at the terminal.
Step 21. To update the terminal settings, click on the Apply button.
