: Restarts your Kindle. You will not lose the books, clippings, or other files stored on your Kindle. In the event
your Kindle freezes, press and hold the Power button for 9 seconds until the Power dialog box displays and then select
Restart. If the Power dialog box does not display, press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds. After the LED light
turns amber and blinks 4 times, you can release the Power button.
: Resets your Kindle to its original settings and restarts it. This action will remove all downloaded or
transferred content from your Kindle, and your settings will not be saved. You will still be able to download items
from the Cloud. You should select this action only if instructed to do so by Kindle Customer Service. Before you reset
your Kindle to its defaults, you must back up any personal documents that you'd like to keep. Once your Kindle
restarts, you will need to register and download your items from the Cloud. If you want to PIN-protect your Kindle,
you must also set up a PIN again.

schedule warmth, you can select one of two options: Automatic or Manual. The Automatic option turns on
warmth at sunset and turns off warmth at sunrise. The Manual option allows you to set the time of day in
which you want warmth to turn on or off daily. To set the warmth level for the scheduled time for either
Automatic or Manual option, use the warmth slider at the bottom of the page. Press and hold to preview the
warmth at the level you'd like to set the warmth. Once you schedule warmth, the “Schedule” link will reflect
the time when the warmth will turn on or off in Quick Actions.
: Enables you to customize your page layout and display preferences. Select Standard to use the default
font size and layout. Select Large to increase font size and help with better readability in few key areas of your Kindle.
This will affect the amount of content that is displayed on some pages. The large mode will be unavailable in these
areas: Store, Search, and Vocabulary Builder.
