  If your Ambient Weather Station's remote thermo-hygrometer isn't reporting to the console and you see dashes on the display, try these steps: First, ensure the sensor is within the 300-foot range of the console. If too close (less than 10 feet), move it further away. Then, cycle the console power. Install a fresh set of batteries in the remote thermo-hygrometer, using lithium batteries for cold environments. Confirm the sensors aren't transmitting through metal or earth barriers. Also, keep the console away from electrical devices and try placing the remote sensor in a higher location, as RF sensors can't transmit through metal or thick walls.
