Why is my Ambient Weather Station data not reporting to Wunderground.com?
    • J
      Jesse HarrisJul 28, 2025
There might be several reasons why your Ambient Weather Station isn't reporting data to Wunderground.com: * Double-check that your password or key is correct. It should be the same password you used to register on Wunderground.com, and it cannot begin with a non-alphanumeric character. * Verify that your station ID is correct. Remember that the station ID is all caps, and it's easy to mix up the letter 'O' with the number '0'. * Ensure the date, time, and time zone are correctly set on the console. Incorrect settings can cause old data to be reported instead of real-time data. * Review your router's firewall settings, as the console sends data via Port 80.

What to do if my Ambient Weather Station has no WiFi connection?
    • V
      vrodriguezAug 2, 2025
If your Ambient Weather Station isn't connecting to WiFi, consider the following: 1. Check if the WiFi symbol is displayed on the console. If the connection is successful, the WiFi icon should be visible in the time field. 2. Ensure your modem's WiFi settings (network name and password) are correct. 3. Make sure the console is plugged into AC power, as it won't connect to WiFi when running on batteries alone. 4. Note that the console only supports 2.4 GHz routers. If you have a dual-band router, you may need to disable the 5 GHz band and enable the 2.4 GHz band. 5. The console does not support guest networks.

What to do if my Ambient Weather Station rain gauge reports rain when it is not raining?
    • F
      franklindanielAug 7, 2025
If your Ambient Weather Station's rain gauge is reporting rain when it's not actually raining, it might be due to an unstable mounting. A shaky mounting pole can cause the tipping bucket to incorrectly register rainfall. Ensure your mounting solution is stable and level.

How to fix Ambient Weather Station outdoor sensor array communication issues?
    • C
      Cindy ClarkAug 13, 2025
If the outdoor sensor array of your Ambient Weather Station isn't communicating with the display console, the console may need to be reset. To do this, press the reset button (Figure 1) with an open-ended paperclip for 3 seconds to completely discharge the voltage. Then, remove the batteries and wait one minute, while covering the solar panel to drain any remaining voltage.

Why does my Ambient Weather Station temperature sensor read too high during the day?
    • K
      Kevin RitterAug 17, 2025
If your Ambient Weather Station's temperature sensor is reading too high during the daytime, make sure the sensor array isn't located near heat-generating sources or structures like buildings, pavement, walls, or air conditioning units. You can also use the calibration feature to offset installation issues related to radiant heat sources.

What to do if relative pressure on my Ambient Weather Station does not agree with official reporting station?
    • Y
      yhortonAug 22, 2025
If the relative pressure reading on your Ambient Weather Station doesn't match an official reporting station, first, check that you're viewing the relative pressure and not the absolute pressure. If you are viewing absolute pressure, select the relative pressure. Also, ensure you've properly calibrated the sensor to an official local weather station.
