What to do if there is no Wi-Fi connection on my Ambient Weather Station?
    • J
      Jamie GrossAug 11, 2025
To resolve Wi-Fi connectivity issues with your Ambient Weather Station, please check the following: 1. Verify the Wi-Fi symbol is visible on the display. 2. Ensure your modem's Wi-Fi settings (network name and password) are accurate. 3. Confirm the console is connected to AC power, as Wi-Fi connectivity is disabled when running on batteries alone. 4. Note that the console exclusively supports 2.4 GHz routers. If using a dual-band router, disable the 5 GHz band and enable the 2.4 GHz band. 5. The console is incompatible with guest networks.

How to fix outdoor sensor array that does not communicate to the display console on Ambient Weather Station?
    • A
      Adrian JamesAug 16, 2025
If your Ambient Weather Station's outdoor sensor array isn't communicating with the display console, the sensor array might not have initiated properly, causing invalid data registration. To fix this, reset the console by pressing the [RESET] button for 3 seconds with an open-ended paperclip to completely discharge the voltage. Remove the batteries and wait one minute while covering the solar panel to drain the voltage. Then, reinsert the batteries and resync the console with the sensor array from about 10 feet away. The LED next to the battery compartment should flash every 16 seconds. If it doesn't, replace the batteries in the outdoor sensor array.

What to do if Ambient Weather Station rain gauge reports rain when it is not raining?
    • J
      Justin ThomasAug 21, 2025
If your Ambient Weather Station's rain gauge reports rain when it is not actually raining, it might be due to an unstable mounting. An unstable mounting solution may result in the tipping bucket incorrectly incrementing rainfall. Ensure you have a stable and level mounting solution to resolve this issue.

How to solve temperature sensor reads too high in the daytime on Ambient Weather Station?
    • D
      David JacksonAug 26, 2025
If the temperature sensor on your Ambient Weather Station reads too high during the daytime, ensure that the Sensor Array is not located near heat sources like buildings, pavement, walls, or air conditioning units. You can also use the calibration feature to offset any installation issues related to radiant heat sources.

What to do if relative pressure does not agree with official reporting stations on Ambient Weather Station?
    • P
      Patty CunninghamAug 30, 2025
To address discrepancies between your Ambient Weather Station's relative pressure readings and official reporting stations, first, confirm that you are viewing the relative pressure and not the absolute pressure. If necessary, select the relative pressure setting. Next, ensure that you properly calibrate the sensor using data from an official local weather station.
