What to do if there is no live image on Ambu Monitor?

      Alfred WilliamsJul 28, 2025
If there's no live image on the Ambu Monitor screen, but the User Interface is visible, or if the image is frozen, here's what to do: * First, ensure that an Ambu visualization device is properly connected to either the blue or green port on the Ambu Monitor. * If the connection is correct, the issue might be communication problems between the Ambu Monitor and the Ambu visualization device. Try restarting the Ambu Monitor by pressing the power button for at least 2 seconds, and then pressing it again to turn it back on. * If the problem persists, the Ambu visualization device might be damaged and need replacement. * Lastly, if a recorded image is displayed in the yellow file management tab, return to the live image by pressing the blue Live image tab or restart the Ambu Monitor.

      riversrickyAug 2, 2025
If the video output on your Ambu Monitor isn't working, consider the following: 1. Ensure the external monitor is connected to the Ambu Monitor using the composite cable and is set to the correct input. The external monitor must support NTSC or PAL; toggle between these in the Ambu Monitor's video out menu for optimal results. Note that the external monitor only displays a live image when the Ambu Monitor is also displaying a live image. 2. If the colors, brightness, and contrast appear different on the external monitor compared to the Ambu Monitor screen, adjust these settings directly on the external monitor. 3. If you notice horizontal lines (noise) on the external monitor, try connecting the Ambu Monitor power supply.
