Amerec K2 Steamer Control
and SaunaLogic App
For use with AK Steam Generators
WARNING
The K2 control operates on 5VDC and does
not present a shock hazard. Electric Shock
Hazard - High voltage exists within the steam
equipment. There are no user serviceable parts
in this equipment. All installation and service to
this equipment should be performed by quali-
ed licensed personnel.
Do not exceed 30 minutes in a steam bath.
Excessive exposure can be harmful to your
health. Excessive exposure can produce a
rapid pulse, light-headedness, weakness or
fainting. If you become uncomfortable or
experience any of the above conditions exit the
steam bath immediately.
Steam baths can put stress on the body. There-
fore a steam bath should be used only under a
doctor's direction if you:
Are pregnant
Have diabetes
Have a heart condition
Have high blood pressure
Have circulatory problems
Are under the inuence of alcohol
Are under the inuence of drugs
Are under the care of a physician
Are in generally poor health
Children should only use the steam bath under
close adult supervision.
Scald Hazard: Do Not Touch the steam head
or trim during operation as they are HOT. Stay
at least 12 inches away from the hot steam
escaping from the steam head.
Be careful when entering a steam bath. Escap-
ing steam from an overheated steam room may
cause injury.

The K2 control is to be used only with a compatible AK steamer from Amerec. If
you have an older AK, contact Tech support for information about upgrading to a
compatible version.
The K2 does not come with a built in temperature sensor so a wall mounted sen-
sor must be installed in the steam bath.
The K2 may be installed on the wall either inside or outside the steam room. Only
one K2 may be installed. If a second control is desired, you may add an optional
K4 On/O󰀨 control or a K3 (with temperature and time adjustments). The K3 and
K4 may be installed inside or outside the room.
The K2 comes with a Wi-Fi module which allows using an app in addition to the
K2. The SaunaLogic app is free for android or iOS devices and communicates
with Alexa, Echo and Siri devices. The Wi-Fi module connects to the steamer with
a 25 ft (7,6 m) cable (provided) to allow positioning the module where it will have
the best communications with your Wi-Fi system.

Use of alcohol, drugs, or medication greatly increases hyperthermia risk.

K2 Control Overview

Control Functions

Touch screen controls: start/stop, set temp, set time, delayed start, lights, optional devices.

Temperature Display Settings

Bath temperature can display in °F or °C via circuit board jumper.

Bath Time Settings

Default max time is 60 minutes. Can be set to 24 hours via circuit board jumper.

Display Information

Shows current bath temperature and remaining bath time when the bath is on.

Display Operation Details

Shows software version on startup, then alternates temp and remaining time.

Setting Temperature and Time

Use +/- icons to adjust temp (84-125°F) and run time (5-60 min or 1-24 hr).

LED Light Control

Control Spectra LEDs (white/color). Turn on/off, change colors, adjust brightness (25-100%).

Optional Device Control

Use icon for on/off control of low voltage, low current devices (e.g., speakers, lights).

Delayed Start Function

Set bath to start later (15 min to 24 hours). Control shows 'dlay' and remaining time.

K2 Saunalogic Steam App

App Display Overview

Shows current room temperature. Operations may vary by screen size.

App Bath Control

Control Bath On/Off, set Bath Time Remaining, Temp Set, and Light options via the app.

App Feature Details

Details on Light control (color selection, no brightness adjustment), Option 2, and Delay Time (15 min to 24 hours).

Temperature Scale Setting

C/F scale cannot be changed via app; requires circuit board jumper.

K2 displays software version on startup (5 seconds) for technical support.

Temperature Sensing Error Codes

E001 (missing/damaged sensor), E002 (shorted sensor), E0055 (overheating). Contact support for issues.
