viatheUSBcableifitisconnectedtoaPC.Theactivepowersourceisindicated
ontheLCDdisplay.WhenUSBpowerisconnected,nopowerisdrawnfromthe
PP3battery.Itisrecommendedtoswitchthethermometerobeforechanging
thebatteryorinsertingtheUSBlead.Thereisalsoasmallinternalcell(Lithium
Metal)whichmaintainstheclockwhilstthebatteryisbeingchanged.ADuracell
PP36LR61/MN1604(orequivalent)batteryissuppliedwiththethermometer.
