6.7.4 Chang ing hy drau lic oil, clean ing the in take fil ter
• Open oil fill ing plug (1)
• Open the drain oil plug (2), drain off the oil.
• Re move the cover of the hy drau lic tank (3).
• Re move the in take fil ter (4) in the hy drau lic tank.
• Wash out the in take fil ter in cold cleaner and blow out us ing
com pressed air.
• Care fully re move rem nants of seal ant from seal sur faces.
• Clean the hy drau lic tank.
• In stall the in take fil ter.
• Ap ply new seal ing com pound.
• Re fit hy drau lic tank cover.
• Screw in oil drain plug, use a new seal.
• Re place ven ti la tion fil ter (5).
• Fill up with oil (re fer to lu bri ca tion plan for cor rect amount and
type of oil).
• Screw in oil fill ing plug, use a new seal.
• Af ter a brief test run, check the oil level once again and top up
if nec es sary.
There is a dan ger of scald ing when work ing with
hot oil.
