Function Description:

The BedStep deploys and retracts with a simple nudge of the foot. To deploy, the user presses down on the forward outside corner of the step pad with their left foot. Installation Overview:

The fender brace is removed using a 10mm socket or wrench. A mounting bracket is then installed using factory fasteners and torqued to 90 ft-lbs / 125 Nm. The harness retainer clip is removed, and the harness is reattached to the bracket using an M6 nut and tightened to 12 ft-lbs. The rear support bracket is attached to the bed panel and main bracket, with bolts torqued to 16 ft-lbs. Similarly, the fender support bracket is attached to the main bracket using a supplied M6 nut and bolt, tightened to 12 ft-lbs. The step pad is aligned with the bumper, and its bolts are tightened: 10mm bolts to 33 ft-lbs / 44 Nm, and the 8mm bolt to 16 ft-lbs. It is crucial to follow all torque specifications to ensure proper and safe installation. Overtightening the step pad bolts may cause damage.

Usage Features:
