Checkpoints before installation:
1. Check if the vehicle manufacturer requires any actions before the power is turned off.
2. Check the vehicle battery and its “best before date” to ensure proper Ignition Locking device
function.
3. Switch off the battery current during installation.
Step by step:
1. Placement of the control box
• The control box must be placed in a dry and protected place of the interior space.
2. Placement of the handset
• Place the handset close to the driver’s seat so that information may be easily viewed.
• The placement should be outside the car’s impact zones (e.g. areas which would affect the
operation of airbags, or pose a danger in the event of a collision).
• The position shall be away from heat/cold, dirt and moisture.
• You may choose to use the magnetic car holder to secure the handset for safe handling of
functions.
