If the spray-fan size keeps changing on your Anest Iwata Paint Sprayer, it could be due to: * Worn out lip seals. Try adjusting them; if they're too worn, replace them. * Damaged or dirty valves or balls. Disassemble and clean them; replace if necessary. * Worn out inner or outer valves inside the air motor. Replace the valves. * A worn out gun nozzle. Replace the nozzle. * Dirty paint filters. Clean or replace them.

What to do if my Anest Iwata ALS 423 TX Paint Sprayer pump does not stop?
    • V
      Victoria BurkeAug 14, 2025
If the Anest Iwata Paint Sprayer pump doesn't stop, several issues could be the cause: * Air might be trapped in the paint ducts. Ensure the dip tube is correctly connected. If air remains, increase the paint level to fully cover the dip tube filter set and release air from the paint ducts. * The valves (upper or lower) might be damaged or dirty. Clean any solidified paint residues; if they're damaged, replace them. * The lower lip seals may not be tight. Adjust them or replace them if worn out. * Check for any leakage from the paint ducts and fix it. * Ensure the recirculation valve is closed.

If the paint isn't flowing out of your Anest Iwata Paint Sprayer, consider these possibilities: * The paint filter or paint circuit may be clogged. Check the paint circuit from the pump inlet to the fluid pipe fitting and remove any obstructions. * The nozzle might be clogged. Free the nozzle with a steel pin and clean it with a non-metallic brush soaked in the suitable solvent. * The safety stop may be jammed. Unlock the safety valve.
