1.5 Adverse effects
The following side effects may be noticed during the CPAP therapy with the device:
1. Dry or stuffy nose
2. Dry mouth or throat
3. Nosebleed
4. Bloating
5. Ear or sinus discomfort
6. Eye irritation
7. Skin rashes
If unusual chest pain, severe headache, or increased breathlessness happens, patients should
report to their prescribing physician. An acute upper respiratory tract infection may require
temporary discontinuation of the treatment.
