1 | INTRODUCTION
Dear customer,
Thank you for purchasing the BASIC. Please read the instructions carefully before you use the
appliance and keep them in a safe place for future reference. If you have any questions about

2 | GENERAL INSTALLATION NOTE
From a strictly legal point of view, an approved safety device is always required in Germany
for the installation of appliances without certi cation mark. For the installation of a water  lter
system from our company, a regular tap is suffi cient to comply with the standards. Such taps
are provided with built-in non-return valves. If no tap is available, at least a DVGW*-approved
shut-off valve with a built-in non-return valve must be installed upstream of the water treat-
ment system.
* DVGW = German association of the gas and water trade
