2.14) Squeeze the tailgate door stop
assembly up to the OE plastic
tailgate cap to get good fit of
the leading curved edge of the
bracket on the door sealing
stop assembly to the curved
recess edge of the OE tailgate
cap.
Using a 6mm drill, bit set to a
depth of 8mm, drill 4 holes
through the existing holes in
the tailgate door stop bracket
through the plastic tailgate OE
tailgate cap.
2.15) Take 4 plastic scrivets
(6152086) and insert them into
drilled holes.
Make sure the scrivet
flanges are flush with top
surface of bracket (use
socket to push the flanges
down) before pushing down
the locking pins.
Tailgate door sealing stop
fitting is now complete.
SQUEEZE TAIL STOP TO
POSITION BRACKET AND
DRILL THROUGH HOLES
MAKE SURE FLANGE IS
FLUSH WITH TOP
SURFACE OF BRACKET
(USE SOCKET TO PUSH
IT DOWN)
PUSH CENTRE PIN
DOWN TO SECURE
FASTENER
