11.6 "LATCH OUTPUT RELAYS" Menu
11.6.1 Description
This menu makes it possible to latch the output contacts (RL2 to RL4 for MiCOM
P921- and RL2 to RL8 for MiCOM P922 and P923) which are associated with one or
several stages, the latch is done by relay and not by functions.
The latched output contacts will then be maintained even if the fault has disappeared,
and as long as a reset will not be performed. The reset an be done :
· via a logic input (select "UNLATCH" in the list of available data, see "INPUTS"
menu § 11.8)
· via a local or remote communication link
In order to latch one output relay, please go to the relevant cell corresponding to the
selected information, press then 5 key. Select the configuration (YES or NO) with 2
and 8 keys. Validate with the 5 key.
11.6.2 MiCOM P921, MiCOM P922 and P923 : common information
To gain access to the "LATCH OUTPUT RELAYS" submenu from the default display,
press 2 once, 6 5 times (P921) or 6 times (P922 or P923), 2 once and 6 5 times.
