Do you have a question about the Argo LILIUM EVO 11 and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

This document describes the Argo Lilium Evo 11 and Lilium Evo 13 dehumidifiers, designed for domestic use. These appliances are highly efficient and utilize R290, a natural refrigerant with a low global warming potential (GWP) of 3. R290 is a non-polluting refrigerant that does not harm the ozonosphere and has no effect on the greenhouse effect, offering high energy efficiency. While flammable, its flammability is very low and it can only be ignited by fire.

Function Description

The primary function of these devices is to dehumidify the air, removing excess moisture to improve indoor air quality and comfort. The dehumidifier operates by drawing in air, extracting moisture, and then releasing warmer, drier air back into the room. It is designed to operate within ambient temperatures ranging from +5°C to +32°C. At lower temperatures, ice may form on the evaporator, triggering a defrost mode where the compressor stops and the fan continues to run until the ice melts.

The dehumidifier offers multiple operating modes:

  • Dehumidify Mode: In this mode, the compressor is active, and the fan speed is adjustable. The initial humidity setting is 55%, with an adjustable range from 30% to 80%.
  • Automatic Mode: The compressor is active, and the fan speed is automatically adjusted based on the room's humidity level. If humidity is above 70%, the fan runs at high speed. Between 55% and 70%, the fan runs at low speed. Below 55%, the compressor stops, and the fan runs at low speed. The humidity level is fixed at 55% and cannot be adjusted.
  • Continuous Mode: The compressor runs continuously, and the fan speed is set to low.
  • Fast Dry Clothes Mode: The compressor runs continuously, and the fan speed is set to high, ideal for drying laundry quickly.
  • Fan Mode: In this mode, only the fan operates, and the compressor is inactive. The fan speed is adjustable.

The device features an auto-restart function, allowing it to resume operation automatically after a power failure.

Usage Features

The dehumidifier is controlled via a user-friendly panel with a display and several buttons. The display shows the relative humidity setting and timer setting. LED indicators provide visual feedback on the device's status, including:

  • LED Timer: Indicates when the timer function is active.
  • LED Tank Full: Illuminates when the water collection tank is full, at which point the unit stops operating and emits a beep for about 20 seconds.
  • LED Defrost: Lights up when the unit is in defrost mode.
  • LED Child Lock: Indicates that the control panel buttons are disabled.
  • High-Low Fan Speed LED: Shows the current fan speed (high or low).
  • Operation LED: Lights up to indicate the selected dehumidification mode.

The control panel also features a front LED that changes color based on the room's humidity level: blue for humidity below 50%, green for humidity between 50% and 70%, and red for humidity above 70%.

The device requires proper placement, at least 1 meter away from flammable or heat-sensitive materials and 50 cm away from walls or other obstructions, to ensure correct heat dissipation and optimal performance. It must be kept vertical at all times, especially after unpacking, to allow the refrigerant to stabilize for at least two hours before operation.

Condensate can be collected in a removable front tank. When the tank is full, the unit automatically shuts off, and the "TANK FULL" LED illuminates. The tank must be emptied and correctly reinstalled for the dehumidifier to resume operation. For continuous drainage, a PVC hose (17 mm internal diameter, 19 mm outer diameter, and 30 cm length) can be connected to the drain hole. It is crucial that the drainage hose's height does not exceed that of the hole and that the exit is not blocked.

For safety, the appliance should not be moved while operating, as this can cause leaks and malfunctions. It should also not be tilted or turned upside down. The unit is equipped with a child lock function, activated by pressing the "+" and "-" buttons for 3 seconds, which disables the control panel buttons.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the dehumidifier's efficiency and longevity.

  • Exterior Surface Cleaning: The exterior surface should be cleaned with a damp, soft cloth. Solvents, petrol, xylene, talcum powder, or abrasive brushes should not be used, as they can damage the casing. Before cleaning, the dehumidifier must be unplugged from the power socket to prevent electric shock. The appliance should never be immersed in water.
  • Water Tank Cleaning: The water tank should be removed and cleaned every few weeks to prevent mold and bacteria growth. This involves filling it with clean water and a small amount of detergent, swilling the water around, emptying it, and then rinsing it thoroughly.
  • Air Filter Cleaning: The air filter, designed to remove dust and dirt, needs regular cleaning. A clogged filter can increase electricity consumption. To clean, remove the tank, then pull down the filter flap until it is fully extracted. The filter can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or washed with clean water (not exceeding 40°C). Alcohol, benzene, or other aggressive products should not be used. After cleaning, the filter should be allowed to dry naturally before being reinserted into its slot. The dehumidifier should not be operated without the filter, as dust can affect the evaporator's efficiency and lead to higher energy consumption.

In case of any anomaly or malfunction, the appliance should be switched off and unplugged immediately. Users should not attempt to dismantle, repair, or modify the product themselves. All repairs should be carried out by an authorized after-sales service center.
