8. Check Auger Gearcase Oil
Check oil level in auger gearcase .
9. Fill Engine Crankcase
IMPORTANT: Engines on all Sno-Thro models are
shipped without oil in crankcase. Refer to Engine
Manual for proper type oil and crankcase capacity.
10. Fill Engine Fuel Tank
WARNING
FLAMMABLE FUEL and its EXPLOSIVE VAPORS can
result in death or serious injury. Handle fuel with extreme
care. ALWAYS use an approved fuel container.
Refer to Engine Manual for proper type and capacity.
11. Check Function of all Controls
WARNING
FAILURE OF CLUTCH OR BRAKE together with improper
usage or adjustment of unit could result in death or serious
injury.
Refer to Operation Section for proper operation.
12. Run In Attachment Belt
Run in attachment belt for about 15 minutes and adjust.
