Bottom Suctions
Skimmer

menttothespa(returnttings).
Thespa’sCirculatingPumpcirculatesthewater
bypullingitfromthespaviaSuctionFittings(the
TopSuctionorSkimmer,andtheBottomSuctions),
passingitthroughtheheaterandlter,thenreturn-
ingittothespaviatheCirculationJets,usually
locatednearthelightorstepofthespa.Normally,
therearetwoCirculationJets:oneisanormal-sized
jet,theotherisaverysmalljet.
The
spa'sJetPumpcirculates
waterbypullingitfrom
thespaviaseparateBot-
tomSuctionFittingand
returnsthewaterthrough
theMassageJets.
Suction Fittings
TheTopSuction,or
Skimmer,isdesignedtoskimdebrisfromthewater’ssurface.TheBot-
tomSuctionsaredesignedtopullwateranddirtfromnearthespa’s
bottom.TheSuctionsdrawwaterfromthespawhenevertheCirculating
Pumpisrunning.
It is important that the perforated cover of the suction always
be in place and in good condition.
If it is damaged or broken, it must be replaced immediately.
Dangerous conditions may occur if the spa is operated with
damaged or missing suction covers.
