Back Support Strap
Using the Back Support Strap
Use of this accessory is recommended where the patient would benefit from extra confidence and support.
To use the back support strap:
• Position the strap at around 50 mm (2”) above the waistline.
• Be careful not to pull the patient forward too much when connecting the support strap.

WARNING: To avoid injury from
falling, make sure that strap
attachment clips are securely
attached before as well as during
the transfer.
1) Position strap at 50 mm (2”)
above waistline.
2) Adjust the belt clip of the sling.
Extra strap can be
used if required.
3) Connect support strap to lugs on
the frame.
4) The patient is now in good position in
the sling.
