The ARP Rx100 battery charger is designed to charge the
battery completely in about 3 hours. The green charger
light will blink on and off while charging the battery. When
charging is complete the green light will stay on
continuously.
Do not attempt to charge the lithium-ion battery with any
other charger.
Although the battery may be allowed to completely
discharge without harm, ARPwave recommends that, once
the voltage indicator drops to 90%, you charge the battery
as soon as it is convenient (you do not need to interrupt a
treatment session). This is because the battery voltage
stays near 100% until the battery is nearly depleted. At this
point, recharge the battery with the ARP battery charger
and if further ARP Rx100 operation is desired, plug the
ARP Rx100 into the power supply. If the battery is allowed
to discharge completely, the ARP Rx100 will cease to
operate.
These lithium-ion batteries will last for about 300
charge/discharge cycles on average. After 300
charge/discharge cycles installing a new battery is
recommended. Depending upon the frequency of use,
these batteries may last for years with proper use.
Batteries that have reached end of life do not require any
special disposition.
