Device Classification & Markings
Classification
ARP Rx100 patient electrodes are classified in accordance
with IEC 60601-1 as Type BF applied parts (see Markings
below).
ARP Rx100 is classified as ordinary equipment (not
protected against ingress of water).
ARP Rx100 is not suitable for use in the presence of
flammable anesthetics.
ARP Rx100 complies with the EMC requirements of IEC
60601-1-2.

The operator must read, understand, and follow all instructions in the
accompanying documents, including all warnings, cautions, and precautions,
before using the device.
Type BF Equipment
This symbol indicates that the patient applied parts (electrodes) are Type BF
(floating from electrical ground), which offers a specific level of safety.
Standby/On
The dot indicates that the power switch switches the DC input power ON (•) and
OFF (no symbol) for part of the equipment only.
Note: to disconnect the external power supply input, unplug the AC Mains plug of
the supplied AC Adapter from the AC receptacle.
