Pad Placement
Instructions / Techniques
Electron Flow
Two, three, or four electrode pads may be used to introduce the
electrical signal to the patient. If two pads (one black and one red)
are used, the electrical signal is developed between the black and
red electrodes. If all four pads are used, the signal is developed
from each black pad to both red pads. If three pads (one black
and two red) are used, operation is similar to that using four pads,
with one black pad disconnected. A polarity reversal control is
provided to change the direction of the signal current at the pads
(see Figure 7 on page 13).
