Why does my Ashley CAC Stove smoke or burn poorly, or why is there excessive creosote in the chimney?

Several factors can cause your Ashley Stove to smoke, burn poorly, or accumulate excessive creosote. It could be due to a slight vacuum in the room; try opening a window slightly to see if conditions improve. The issue might also be loss of air from the room through kitchen or bathroom fans, chimneys, or vents; reduce air loss or provide an air source. Check the pipes connecting the heater to the chimney for loose or unsealed joints that leak air, and inspect the chimney for cracks or holes. Review your fire-building method, check for obstructions in the system, ensure the chimney height is adequate, and verify the chimney flue liner size.
