Why is my Ashley Stove display flashing “E1”?
    • C
      Chelsea RandolphAug 12, 2025
The "E1" error on your Ashley Stove indicates an overheating issue. This could be due to several reasons: * The convection blower might be overheating. Try cleaning any dust from the windings and fan blade, and consider oiling the blower. If this doesn't resolve the issue, the blower may need replacement. * Operating the stove on the highest heat setting for too long can cause overheating. Try using a lower heat setting. * Using fuel other than wood pellets can lead to overheating. Ensure you're only using approved wood pellets. * A power surge or brownout could be the cause. Use a surge protector. * The high limit switch may be malfunctioning. If other solutions don't work, consider replacing it.

Unhook the air hose from the air switch and blow through it to ensure it's clear. * Blockages in the air inlet, burnpot, combustion air chambers, combustion blower, or exhaust pipe due to ash or foreign material. Why won't my Ashley AP5790 Stove ignite even though it's feeding pellets?
    • K
      Kyle LambNov 25, 2025
If your Ashley Stove is feeding pellets but failing to ignite, consider the following: * The air damper may be open too far. Push the air damper left for startup, and in some cases, it may need to be completely closed for ignition. * There might be a blockage in the igniter tube or its inlet. Clear any obstructions and check for debris around the igniter element inside the igniter housing. * The burnpot may not be correctly positioned. Ensure the air intake collar on the burnpot is touching the rear wall of the firebox. * The igniter element could be faulty. Apply power directly to the igniter element and observe the tip from the front of the stove. It should glow after about 2 minutes; if not, the element is likely bad. * The control board may not be sending power to the ignite...
