Why won't my Asko Dishwasher start?
    • S
      Sarah HillAug 19, 2025
If your Asko dishwasher isn't starting, make sure you press and hold the Start/Stop button until the display reads 'Program started'. Also, check that the door is properly closed and that the door lock has clicked into place. Other things to verify include the fuse/circuit breaker, the plug in the wall socket, and the water tap. Ensure there are no overflows or leaks. If a whirring sound persists even when the power is off, turn off the water tap, pull out the plug, and contact customer support. If the Delayed Start option is enabled, press and hold Start/Stop for three seconds to cancel it.

How to fix drying issues with my Asko DFI444B/1 Dishwasher?
    • R
      Richard FordAug 21, 2025
If your Asko dishwasher isn't drying dishes well enough, activate the Auto Open option. Make sure the dishwasher is fully loaded. Check and top up the rinse aid, or increase the dosage level. If you're using all-in-one detergents with the TAB setting activated, try switching detergents or deactivating the TAB setting and using salt and separate rinse aid.

    • K
      Kendra YorkAug 23, 2025
If your Asko dishwasher has water remaining inside, clean the coarse and fine filters. Ensure the filters are correctly fitted and locked in the stop position. Clean any debris from the drainage pump. Check that the colored stop on the right in the bottom drain is in place. Straighten any kinks in the drainage hose. Disconnect the drainage hose from the sink unit's water trap to check for blockages, ensuring the connection has an inner diameter of at least 14 mm.

How to improve cleaning performance of Asko Dishwasher?
    • L
      lisa15Aug 26, 2025
If your Asko dishwasher isn't cleaning dishes properly, ensure the spray arms aren't blocked by dishes. Clean the spray arms if the holes or bearings are blocked. Choose a suitable dishwashing program, like 'Intensive', for greasy dishes. Use the correct detergent dosage based on water hardness, avoiding too much or too little detergent. Check the age of your detergent and avoid large packages. Load dishes correctly, ensuring porcelain isn't covered and tall glasses aren't in corners. Make sure dishes are stable to prevent them from toppling over. Also, verify that the filters are correctly fitted and the drainage pump stop is in place.

What to do if my Asko DFI444B/1 leaves spots on dishes?
    • G
      Gary JohnsonAug 28, 2025
If your Asko dishwasher leaves spots or films on the dishes, check the rinse aid dosage setting. If using all-in-one detergent with the TAB setting activated, switch detergents or deactivate the TAB setting and add salt and separate rinse aid. Ensure the salt compartment isn't empty and the water softener setting is correct. Check for salt leaks from the water softener and tighten the salt compartment lid. To prevent etching on crystal, use a low temperature and a small amount of detergent.

If the door lock isn't clicking, open the door, press and hold the navigation button and the Auto Open option button until the display flashes, wait 60 seconds, then close the door to see if the lock engages.

    • K
      Karen SantosSep 1, 2025
If the buttons on your Asko dishwasher aren't responding, wait a moment before trying again after opening the door. If the child lock is activated, refer to the Settings chapter. Ensure the door is open, as the buttons only work when it is. Clean the buttons with a dry or slightly damp cloth if they are dirty.
