Ensure you're using a suitable dishwashing program, like the Intensive program for very dirty dishes, and that you're using the correct detergent dosage for your water hardness. Also, make sure the filters are clean and correctly fitted, and that the yellow drainage pump stop is in place. Avoid overloading or incorrectly loading the dishes, and ensure glasses and cups are stable. Expired detergent can also cause this issue, so avoid buying large packages.

If you're using all-in-one detergents and have the TAB setting activated, try switching detergents or deactivating the TAB setting and adding salt and separate rinse aid. Ensure the salt compartment is full and that the water softener setting is correct. Also, check that the salt compartment lid is properly tightened to prevent leaks. If you're washing crystal, use a lower temperature and less detergent to prevent etching.
