1. Connection
To connect a motor lock to the Hi-O bus a four wire
cable is used; two for power and two for communication.
Use supplied cable EA226 (10m), with connector, at
installation.
The cable can be connected anywhere on the Hi-O bus.
White CAN high
Brown CAN low
Green + 12-24VDC stab
Yellow GND
2. Termination
In a Hi-O bus network it is necessary to terminate the
communication bus to avoid interferences. Termination
cannot be done in the lock, it can be done in card
readers, opening buttons or a gateway; please see
manual for each product.
3. Group switch
The group switch is used to select which Hi-O group the
motor lock belongs to.
Most installations use group 1 only (factory default). The
switch is placed on the lock case under a label (see
picture 2).
