Term Description
1 Striking plate The striking plate is used to fasten the lock in the lock
pocket.
2 Bolts Moved by an electric motor, the bolt extends into the
lock counterpart recess and locks the door.
3 Rebate gap The rebate gap is the distance between the faceplate
and lock counterpart.
