Mounting
Mounting in the door frame
If the escape door locking system 352M is mounted in the door frame, the lock
counterpart position can be adjusted 2mm by changing the alignment using
the SETLA M5 positioning plate (Fig. 4 a, b, c).
The spacer plates can be used to adjust the precise position in 0.5mm incre-
ments (Fig. 4 d, e and 4).
Fig. 4 does not show all possible combinations between SETLA M5 and spacer
plates. The spacer plates can also be used if the SETLA M5 positioning plate is
installed in the directions a or b.
Setting the rebate gap
The distance between the escape door locking system 352M and the lock counter-
part facing it must be adjusted so that the bolt can be fully extended and en-
gage in the lock counterpart without any backlash.
2 Mount the SETLA M5 positioning plate and the spacer plates as seen in the
examples (Fig. 4 a, b, c, d, e).
3 Check the rebate gap (“Technical data”, page52). The tolerance for
positioning depends on the rebate gap. Use spacer plates if the rebate gap is
too wide (> 4.5mm).
The rebate gap is correctly adjusted, the bolt is fully extended and the door is
locked without any play.
