The water must be maintained within the follow-
ing parameters:
• Total alkalinity between 60 and 120 mg/L (ppm)
• pH between 7.2 and 7.6
• Free chlorine between 0.5 and 2 mg/L (ppm)
• Chlorine stabiliser between 25 and 30 mg/L
(ppm). In pools that are exposed to strong sun-
shine or intensively used, it is advisable to main-
tain a level of 25–30 mg/L of stabiliser (isocya-
nuric acid).
