  If your Astralpool Water Pump is leaking from the lid, it could be due to a cracked O-ring (possibly from lack of Hydroslip) or an unsecured lid. This requires general maintenance, which isn't covered under warranty. If the lid itself is cracked and under warranty, a replacement lid and O-ring can be provided at no charge. If the pump is leaking from underneath, general wear and tear or poor water chemistry might be the cause, leading to a leaking mechanical seal (note that issues related to poor water chemistry aren't covered under warranty). It is recommended to book a technician or agent to address the leak.

  If your Astralpool Water Pump isn't running, something might be stuck in the impeller. Try using a flat-head screwdriver to see if you can free the impeller. If it moves, the motor may have failed, and you should book a technician or service agent. Also, check the hair and lint basket for damage, as debris passing through to the impeller can cause a jam, which isn't covered under warranty.

Make sure the hair and lint basket is correctly seated to prevent air from entering the system. Clean and grease the lid's O-ring with HydroSlip, replacing it if damaged. Also, remove, clean, and inspect the O-rings on the pump's fittings, replacing them if necessary, and wash the fitting threads before refitting.
