Answering system settings
Answer on/o
If you turn the answering system on, it answers calls and records messages
only on the home line. If your paired cell phone has voicemail, callers can leave
messages with that voicemail service.
If your answering system is turned o and you change any of its settings, the
answering system automatically turns on again.
To turn the answering system on or o:
Using a handset:
1. Press MENU/SELECT in idle mode.
2. Press CID or to highlight Answering sys, then press
MENU/SELECT.
3. Press CID or to highlight Answer on/o, then press
MENU/SELECT.
4. Press CID or to highlight On or O, then press
MENU/SELECT to save.
Using the telephone base:
f Press to turn the answering
system on or o. When the
answering system is turned on, it
announces, “Calls will be answered.”
When the answering system is
turned o, it announces, “Calls will
not be answered.”
