Installing the EMI Shield in the Stand
Make certain that the black EMI shield has been screwed into the stand.
If it has not, see the instructions that are shipped with the ADB and the
TMI board, the ‘‘ISDN 8510T Voice Terminal Instructions for Installing
the Asynchronous Data Board (ADB) or Telephone Nultimedia Interface
(TMI) Board.’’
Reinstalling the Desktop Stand
1 Carefully replace the desktop stand by placing the upper desktop
stand tab in the terminal slot at the top of the terminal. Be sure that
the RS232 connector shows through the long rectangular connector
opening. If you have installed a TMI board, be sure that the 8-pin
round connector shows through the square connector opening. See
Figure 9.
2 Slowly lower the desktop stand until the tab at the bottom of the
desktop stand fits into the slot on the bottom part of the terminal.
3 Replace the screw in the hole from which you removed it. See
Figure 2.
Figure 9 shows the rear of the terminal with the ADB in place and the
TMI board in place.
