Before installation:
Do not attempt to install your service until 2pm or later
on your service activation date. You can find this date
on your packing slip.
Get started Approximate installation time: 30 minutes
Before you begin:
1. Check your service activation date.
Do not attempt to install your services until
2pm or later on the date provided to you
by AT&T. This date is also located on your
packing slip.
2. Do you have a monitored home security system
or health alarm?
If either of these apply to you, you will need an AT&T technician
to install your service. Call 800.288.2020 to schedule an
appointment. Additional charges will apply for professional
installation services from an AT&T U-verse service technician

Initial Setup and Power Up

Connect Data and Power Cables

Connect the green data cable to the wall jack and the yellow Ethernet cable to your computer.

Connect Phone Line

Plug your phone cable into the Wi-Fi Gateway's Phone Lines 1 & 2 port and your phone.

Power Up the Wi-Fi Gateway

Connect the gateway to power and wait for indicator lights to turn solid green.

Service Registration and Activation

Complete Online Registration

Activate your High Speed Internet and Voice services by completing the online registration process.

Configure Wi-Fi Network

Set Up Wi-Fi Connection

Record your Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and Password from the gateway to connect devices.

Manage Voicemail and Features

Set Up Voicemail

Dial *98 from your home phone and follow prompts to set up your mailbox and authentication code.

Manage Features Online

Log in to your online account at att.com/myatt to manage phone and voicemail features.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Check Service Activation Date

Ensure installation is attempted after 2pm on the service activation date found on your packing slip.

Check Connections and Power Cycle

Verify cables are secure and power cycle the Wi-Fi Gateway by unplugging for 15 seconds.
