Options while on calls
Mute
Use the mute function to turn off the microphone. You can hear the caller, but
the caller cannot hear you.
To mute a call:
While on a call, press MUTE/
DELETE on the handset, or press MUTE on the
telephone base. When mute is on, the handset and telephone base show
Microphone off for a few seconds and the MUTE icon appears until the
mute function is turned off.
To take a call off mute:
Press MUTE/DELETE on the handset, or press MUTE on the telephone base
and resume speaking. When mute is off, Microphone on appears temporarily
on the handset and telephone base.
Mute is automatically canceled when you end the call.
