Answering system settings
Remote access code
To access your answering system remotely from any touch-tone phone, you
need to enter a two-digit number (00-99). By default, the remote access code
is 19.
To change the remote access code:
Using a cordless handset or the telephone base:
Press MENU in idle mode.
Press CID or DIR to highlight Answering sys, then press
SELECT .
Press CID or DIR to highlight Ans sys setup, then press
SELECT .
Press CID or DIR to highlight Remote code, then press
SELECT .
Use the dialing keys to enter a 2-digit number. Use
MUTE/DELETE to erase a digit.
Press SAVE to confirm. You hear a confirmation tone.
