the Select Switches' flex strip through the opening at the left of its well.

Position the top controller

on the bottom controller
case.
Be
sure that:

actuator plates
are
correctly positioned in the top controller
case
(refer to Figure
6-5).

The put arms
are
set into the holes
in
the actuator plates
(refer
to
Figure
6-51.

The
joystick
pivot shaft sets in the well located between the two pots.
6.
Replace
and
tighten
the
three screws which hold
the
top
and bottom controller
case together.
7.
Replace the select switches
by
placing them on top of the function
key
pad
and pressing the bezel into position on top of them.
