Procedure: (Using 1.1 Diagnostic Cartridge)
Set up the 5200 console with
a
TV,
the
1

diagnostic cartridge inserted,
and
a
known-good controller in port 1.
Press key

and then press START to bring up the Pokey Adjust Screen.
Remove the known-good controller and insert the controller to be
tested into port 1.
Move the controller joystick to position
1,
as
illustrated in Figure 6-2
below. The readinsrs on the screen should
be
less than
25
for Port
1
