Why is my ATC K-Series not cooling properly?
    • T
      Trevor SmithAug 3, 2025
Poor cooling in your ATC Chiller is almost always caused by a blocked condenser. Clean it with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. If the problem continues, high ambient temperature or excessive load applied to the unit may be the cause. Check these factors.

What to do if my ATC K-Series Chiller is making noisy operation with high fluid pressure and/or low flow?
    • E
      Edward AndersenAug 9, 2025
To address the noisy operation, high fluid pressure, and/or low flow in your ATC Chiller, clean the fluid path with a weak detergent solution, flush, and replace the fluid with the correct Hexid fluid. Also, check the pump filter (if fitted), ensure there are no restrictions in the pipe work, and verify that the operating coolant pressure is not set too low.

      Julie ScottAug 15, 2025
If the fluid lines in your ATC Chiller are becoming fouled brown or green, it's likely due to algae contamination. Clean the system with a weak detergent solution, replace the fluid lines with opaque (ideally black) lines to inhibit algae growth, and use Hexid fluid.

What to do if ATC K-Series Chiller compressor is not running, but fan is running?
    • S
      Sheryl WolfeAug 21, 2025
If the compressor in your ATC Chiller is not running but the fan is, the compressor’s internal protection has likely been activated, usually due to high ambient temperature. Check that the condenser is clean, the ambient temperature is not too high, and there has been no temporary power failure.
