A. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Carefull:
 The unit and Athena accessoires are not to be cleaned in a autoclave,
sterilized by steam, ultrasone beeing cleaned or submerged in liquids.
 Don’t use steel wool or other rough materials or strong solvents such as
aceton or on aceton based cleaners.
 Don’t clean electrical contacts with (bleaching)water.
 Make sure the unit is disconnected from electrical sources during
cleaning.
 Never allow liquids to run into the unit.
 Don’t disassemble the unit.
 Don’t poor liquids over the unit.
 Remove desinfectants from the unit with a soft moist cloth.
 Keep the unit free from dust and dirt to ensure hygiëne.
 Athena does not accept responsibility for your internal guidelines or the
used materials, consult your responsible person or epidemiologist.
Materials that are allowed for cleaning the unit:
 Mild soap and water
 Gluteraldehyde solution (3,4% gluteraldehyde such as Cidexplus)
 Natriumhypochloriet (bleaching water, 3% solution)
 Quaternaire ammonium mixtures (21% quarternair ammonium, 1.5cl
per 5 liter water)
 Isopropylalcohol 70%, Ethanol 70
 Glassex
