5 Phonebook
This section tells you how to use the Phonebook.
The phone can store up to 50 phonebook entries.
Each memory can store numbers with up to 24
digits and names with up to 20 characters.
Press
u to open the Phonebook options.
5.1 Review Phonebook Entry
This option lets you view the names/numbers
saved in the Phonebook.
1. Press
u ) Review
2. Press ! or " to scroll through the list.
OR
Enter a letter using the number keys to go
directly to the first entry that begins with that
letter.
5.1.1 Call a Phonebook Entry
1. Press u ) Review ) Select the entry
2. Pick up the handset or press
J (for handsfree
operation).
The number is dialled out.
OR
1. Press u ) Review ) Select the entry
2. Press
e.
The screen shows Dial .
3. Press e again.
The unit will dial the number immediately.
Or
Turn on the handsfree in On-hook mode,
and dial the number after 3 seconds.
5.1.2 Edit a Phonebook Entry
1. Press u ) Review ) Select the entry
2. Press
e.
3. Edit will be displayed at the lowest line of the
screen. Press
e.
4. You will be prompted to edit the number. When
done, press
e to save it.
5. You will be prompted to edit the name. When
done, press
e to save it.
