9.2.2 Delete Inbox SMS
1. Press I ) Inbox ) Select the entry

! or " until Delete appears at the
lowest line of the display creen. Press

The SMS is deleted. The next SMS will be
displayed (if any).
Tip
To set it so that
Inbox SMS are automatically deleted
after reading, see “9.5.2 SMS Storing”.
9.2.3 Call Inbox SMS
This option lets you call the number that sent the
SMS to you.
1. Press
I ) Inbox ) Select the entry
2. Press

3. Press
! or " until CALL appears at the lowest
line of the display screen. Press
e.
OR
Press J (for handsfree operation).
The number is dialled out.
9.2.4 Reply Inbox SMS
This option lets you reply to an Inbox SMS.
1. Press
I ) Inbox ) Select the entry
2. Press
e.
3. Press
! or " until Reply appears at the lowest
line of the display screen. Press
e.
This will bring you to “9.1 Write an SMS (and send/
store it)”, except that your message will be sent to
the number of the SMS sender by default.
9.2.5 Use Inbox SMS
This option lets you edit a message from the Inbox
and then send it.
1. Press
I ) Inbox ) Select the entry
2. Press
e.
3. Press
! or " until Use appears at the lowest
line of the display screen. Press
e.
This will bring you to “9.1 Write an SMS (and send/
store it)”, with the SMS text automatically displayed
on the screen. You may edit the text and then send/
store it.
