Messages in the instrument cluster display
If t he act ive lane ass ist switches off au tomat ical-
ly, the indicator light in the display turns off and
one of the following messages appears :
Audi active lane assist: Currently unavailabl e.
No camera view
This message appea rs if the came ra is unable to
detect t he lines. This could happen if:
- The camera field of view
c> page 96, fig . 100 is
dirty or covered in ice. Clean this area on the
windsh ield .
- The camera field of view is fogged over . Wait
unt il the fog has cleared before sw itch ing the
active lane assist on again .
- The system has been unab le to detect the lanes
fo r an extended pe riod of time due to road con-
dit ions. Switch act ive lane assist bac k on when
t he lines are mo re visible .
Audi active lane assist: Currently unavailable
There is a temporary active lane assist malf unc-
tion . Try sw itching the act ive lane assist on aga in
lat er.
Audi active lane assist: System fault!
Drive to an autho rized Aud i de al e r o r a ut ho rized
Audi Service Facility immediately to have t he
malfunction corrected.
Audi active lane assist: Please take over steering
This message appea rs if you are not steering by
yourself . If t his is t he case, active lane assist does
not swit ch off, but it is "no t ready " to prov ide a
war nin g. The system ca n help you keep t he ve hi-
