Messages in the instrument cluster disp lay
If t he active lane assist sw itches off automa tical-
ly, the indicator light in the display turns off and
one of the fo llow ing messages appears:
Audi active lane assist : Currently unavailable.
No camera view
This message appears if the camera is unable to
de t ect t he lines. This could happe n if:
- The camera field of view¢
page 97, fig. 102 is
dirty or covered in ice . Clean th is area on the
windshield.
- The camera fie ld of view is fogged over. Wait
until the fog has cleared before switch ing the
active lane assist on aga in.
- The system has been unable to detect the lanes
for an extended period of t ime due to road con-
ditions . Switch act ive lane assist back on when
t he lines a re more visib le.
Audi active lane assist: Currently unavailab le
There is a temporary act ive lane assist malfunc-
tion. Try switc hing the active lane assist on again
later.
Audi acti ve lane assist: System fault!
Drive t o a n au t hor ized Audi dealer or aut horized
Audi Service Facility immediate ly to have the
malfunction corrected.
Audi active lane assist : Please take over steering
This message appears if you are not steer ing by
yourself .
If this is the case, active lane assist does
not switch off, but it is "not ready" t o provide a
warning. The system can help you keep t he vehi-
cle in the lan e. However, you are responsible for
driving the vehicle and must steer it yourse lf.
Adjusting the vibration warning
