The ins tr umen t illum inat ion for the need les
and dials turns on when the ignition is turned
on and the lights a re turned off. The illumi na-
tion for the gauges red uces automatically and
eventually turns off as brightness outside in-
creases. This funct ion rem inds the dr iver to
turn the low beams on at the appropriate
time .
