Engine stop while driving
• Engine stopped: No power steering and
brake support .
There is a malfunction in the engine or in the fuel
supp ly system.
More fo rce is needed to steer and brake the mov-
ing vehicle w hen t he engine is stoppe d. If the ve-
hicle is rol li ng, try to bring it to a stop
off to the
side from moving traffic. See an aut horized Audi
dealer or authorized Audi Service Facility for as-
sist ance.
A WARNING

If the engine stops while driving, you will
need t o use mo re f orce t o brake t he vehicle.
This increases t he risk of an accident. There
w ill st il l be power st eerin g if t he ignit ion is
switched on while the vehicle is rolling and
there is sufficient battery charge. Othe rwise,
you must use greate r force when steer ing.

• Turn off engine and check oil level
Stop the engine and do not continue driving .
